Description

Up and About is a tough, handsome 3yo gelding who has shown good potential in his short career.

He went shin sore in his first start, showing good signs in his trials - all on the back of his first and only racing prep.

In his second racing preparation he again showed potential running 3rd in a fast run trial over 950m, only to pull up lame after his first up run. The stable were confident he would go close first up.

He was subsequently x rayed which revealed a bone chip in the knee of his off fore. Baldivis Vets have estimated a cost of $2700 for the procedure.

Up and About is a very lightly raced WESTSPEED PLATINUM bonus scheme horse, giving a prospective buyer plenty of time after the knee chip removal and spell, to capitalise on the bonus scheme which he is eligible all through his 3yo and 4yo days.

With time, Up and About is an economical way to get into a young Westspeed Platinum-horse that’s shown he should go through his grades.
