Description
Cool Kaap is a lightly raced three-year-old son of American Pharoah, out of Gr.3 winner Ashley’s Kitty. He was an impressive winner on debut at metro level as a two-year-old, settling off the pace, before picking up in great style to win well. Although he hasn’t won since, there have been excuses in subsequent runs and he will benefit from a spell and further time to mature.
From four starts, he has shown a good turn of foot on top of the ground and although still green, there is improvement to come with racing, as he matures.
He is sound, lightly raced and a racing proposition with upside. He doesn’t fit the business model of racing colts for his ownership group, so the decision has been made to move him on unreserved.
