Description

Russian Revolution daughter of an American stakes winner.

BARRABOOL is a homebred filly for Rosemont Stud, being the daughter of dual American stakes winning mare WILD MIA. Retained to race by Rosemont and sent to Clayton Douglas, Barrabool showed terrific early ability and was sent to Adelaide to debut in a 2yo stakes race. Spelled after that, she has not returned at three with enough improvement to show that she can reach that level and given Rosemont already own fillies in the family the decision has been taken to move her on.

Barrabool will suit a lesser racing jurisdiction where she can win races and progress to a successful career as a broodmare given the residual value in her pedigree.
