Description

A beautiful 16.2HH (approx) daughter of Triple Crown winner AMERICAN PHAROAH, who is renowned for throwing good-looking types ; this filly is no exception. She was a $300,000 purchase from the 2020 Inglis Easter sale which indicates her lovely physical conformation.

Lulu's Halo is from a family littered with black type, out of a full sister to Group 1 Blue Diamond winner CATCHY, her granddam being Group 2 winner, Group 1 Thousand Guineas placed CAT'S WHISKER. Further black type to be added via a full sister with Anthony Cummings to race, and a cracking half brother by YES YES YES- Coolmore Stud reports this colt as being the best foal on the farm. He is a ¾ brother to the 4-time city winning El Bunea, and her dam in foal to an early cover to ST MARK'S BASILICA.

Lulu's Halo has had just 6 starts with one of those starts she lost her jockey when the gates opened and took no part, so she still has every opportunity to win her maiden, her 3rd and 4th career starts she showed some promise finishing 4th on both occasions (only beaten a length both times). Her owners prefer to race stakes quality horses so have decided to move her on to make way for younger stock coming through.

This filly can ultimately provide her new owners with a maiden win on the racetrack and further prizemoney to get back her purchase price before a bright career in the breeding barn .
