Description
Great opportunity. Offered **UNRESERVED** to allow a prominent South Australian breeding operation to dissolve its stock.
Only 4 weeks of age (DOB 4.11.22) , this is a big strong filly by GRUNT and has caught the eye from the get go. A big 67kg foal, she has not taken a backward step and could be a shrewd early pinhook.
GRUNT yearlings averaged $47,463 across 96 yearlings, with a top price of $300,000 for a filly. There isnt a top ten stable in VIC or NSW that doesn’t have a GRUNT in work as a 2yo.
TESTA ROSSA is a prodigious broodmare sire of 5 Group 1 winners, including the Newhaven First Season sire COOL AZA BEEL … which the cross of this filly mimics.
QUIK NU CHIC is a 16HH, strong style of mare. She is very much a “type” mare a would suit any commercial stallion in 2023. She was not mated due to the late foaling date and the fact that the owner is managing his “overheads” whilst he exits the industry.
Her 2021 born SHOOTING TO WIN colt is part of the Cornerstone Stud draft into Adelaide and considered as one of the better colts in the draft.
