Description
Great Barrier Reef is a lightly raced 3yo Colt by Champion Sire I Am Invincible out of Group 1 winning mare Cosmic Endeavour. He was a $1.4 million Dollar Inglis Easter Graduate in 2021. He is a colt that showed good ability from the moment he stepped foot into the stables. He has been well educated from a young age and made his first appearance at the trials as a pre-Christmas 2yo. He went for a spell following this and came back in much stronger and more mature. He made his debut in the Group 3 Canonbury where he finished 4th to Best of Bordeaux.
He went on to race competitively at Group level once he broke his maiden at start three but unfortunately hasn’t been able to break through for a Stakes win to justify being a stallion prospect.
His ownership group have decided to sell him because he no longer fits the business model.
