A terrific opportunity to be involved in a Stakes class racehorse who is proven at a high level!

Pascero is a 4yo Pierro gelding with a career record of 11: 3-1-0. All three of his career victories have come at metropolitan level at Sandown (including his first two starts). To date, his career peak came in the Group 3 C.S. Hayes Stakes at Flemington when narrowly beaten by Group 1 performer, Pinstriped.

After leading throughout at a fast tempo it was a run full of merit. Pascero would then go to run a creditable race in the Group 1 Australian Guineas before being spelled ahead of the spring.

Pascero was slightly hampered by unfavorable wet tracks across the spring this year, yet was still able to breakthrough in an $130K BM78 in what was a barnstorming run from the rear on September 25. He is undoubtedly better on top of the ground, as to utilize his exceptional turn of foot.

Following his most-recent preparation, Pascero was gelded and enjoyed a good spell. He is currently back in full work under the care of his trainers Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young at their Cranbourne training base and being readied for a return to the track.

Based on his form and ability, Pascero is expected to prove highly competitive across the upcoming autumn period and accordingly will be aimed at metropolitan/stakes class races.
