Alaskan Sun’s half sister SEE YOU IN HEAVEN is set to add a Gr.1 to her already impressive resume this Autumn.
Her yearling ½ brother commanded $210,000 at the 2023 Gold Coast Yearling Sale, making him easily the highest priced CLIFF’S EDGE yearling to date.
Alaskan Sun was a very handy racehorse herself, winning on 5 occasions, including twice in town. She showed precocity to win at 2 before training on and winning more races, while taking home $175,753 in prizemoney.
Her first foal is a first crop BRUTAL yearling filly and she is now safely in foal to exciting young sire ENCRYPTION.
Covering sire ENCRYPTION has gotten off to a fast start at stud, already producing black type colt CIFRADO, 2yo winner FLORAL CODE and multiple city placed filly KEYBOARD.
He is a son of Champion LONHRO, out of 4-time Gr.1 winning mare GUELPH and his yearlings have sold for up to $320,000.
HINCHINBROOK is emerging as an exceptional broodmare sire in both Australia and Hong Kong with Gr.2 winner SEJARDAN, HK Gr.3 winner CORDYCEPS SIX, Black type placegetter THRON BONE along with a record of 10 city winners in his first 62 runners as a dam sire.
