Description
Flaming June is three quarter relation to Jet Spur, one of Queenslands leading sires in recent times. She is also a half sister to the Group 2 winner and multiple Listed placegetter Leonardo Da Hinchi, as well as the 10 time winner and stakes performed Raeburn.
She is being offered for sale with a foal at foot by up and coming young sire Headwater. Not unlike his very own sire Exceed and Excel, Headwater was a speed machine on the track and is producing high quality, fast individuals such as Jamaea - winner of the Group 2 Percy Sykes and Group 2 Furious Stakes both over 1200m. His overall strike rate currently sits at better than 50% winners to runners and this is from only 220 individuals to have hit the tracks so far.
Headwater progeny are also proving to be valued commodoties in the sale ring so far in 2023 with a colt reaching $110,000 and his best price filly making $85,000 at the Gold Coast last week.
