Lightly raced, winning son of SAVABEEL Striking Plains is being sold with upside and more wins ahead of him.
He was purchased for $220,000 as a yearling at the New Zealand Bloodstock National Yearling Sale, he is by Champion sire SAVABEEL, out of Stakes placed SEBRING mare SHE’S BELLA, who is a half sister to LOVE CONQUERS ALL, SHE’S MEANER (Dam of LEAN MEAN MACHINE) & Love is Fickle (Dam of HITOTSU).
Class prevailed, winning two starts back at Wangaratta over 1170m. He was caught 3 deep but scored comfortably, defeating two next start winners.
He has shown ability and is perfectly suited to the country racing scene or even Brisbane or Adelaide grade. He ran into a handy one on debut in VULTAN before a placing at just his second start, prior to his 3rd start victory. Last start he was slow out of the gates and didn’t appreciate being caught back in the field but managed to run into midfield, defeating city winner ORLANDO GROVE.
Striking Plains is being offered unreserved for genuine sale, he is sound and has a promising racing career ahead of him.
Note: This horse had a successful throat surgery prior to commencing his racing career. He has since won 2 of his first 5 starts.
