• 3yo bay gelding by DEEP FIELD out of WESTERN GEM

• An absolutely cracking yearling, he was purchased for $400,000 at the Inglis Melbourne Premier sale which is indicative of his quality physical attributes

• His debut start as a 2yo was very promising, taking out a maiden win before placing third on two occasions. He then had a spell before coming back in as a 3yo and running below par this preparation

• DEEP POINT has a lovely pedigree with his dam being a four-time winner and a half-sister to the G2 Perth Cup winning WESTERN JEWEL who is the dam of G1 Railway Stakes winning WESTERN EMPIRE who has won or placed in an incredible eleven stakes races; as well as the stakes winning WESTERN TEMPLE
