A young mare by the reliably classy stallion Pride Of Dubai - Gr.1 Blue Diamond Stakes and Gr.1 ATC Sires' Produce Stakes winning sire of 15 stakes winners including the outstanding sprinter Bella Nipotina - Neon Rain is being sold in foal to an exciting Aquis Farm stallion.
Neon Rain has a last service date of October 25 to the well related dual Group winnig Not A Single Doubt stallion Dubious who has been very nicely supported at his first few years at stud.
And this is a fascinating mating - Dubious hailing from the same prolific family as Pride Of Dubai's Street Cry whilst Dubious' second dam sire Night Shift is a son of the influential mare Ciboulette, third dam of Neon Rain's high achieving dam sire Holy Roman Emperor.
It is still early days for Pride Of Dubai as a broodmare sire but what a great prospect he is, his sire Street Cry so well represented by 128 stakes winners - 20 of whom have been successful at Gr.1 level.
Neon Rain is the first foal produced by the stakes placed Berenice who is still at stud visiting high class stallions - last spring served by Yes Yes Yes and previously King's Legacy, Divine Prophet and Capitalist.
Berenice is one of five winners for the Gr.2 Matriarch Stakes winner Sutology with another two of those earning black-type. And this is a family that has been producing stakes horses for generations... one which has produced one of the stars of the Australian turf, the mighty Rising Fast.
