Description
An unraced daughter of successful broodmare sire COMMANDS, Destine is out of the Stakes-winning HURRICANE SKY mare JEWELLED GATE.
The is a family with huge scope for pedigree updates; Destine’s dam Jewelled Gate has already produced five winners from six runners and these include the Group Three-placed sprinter ART CADEAU. Winner of the 2021 Kosciuszko and running a credible 5th in the same race in 2022 on his most recent start he has amassed over $1.5million in prizemoney.
Jewelled Gate is also the dam of smart galloper LORD DESANIMAUX; a 2.8 length winner at Warwick Farm this preparation.
Destine is offered with a foal at foot by two-time Group One-winning sprinter HARRY ANGEL. Already the sire of 27 first crop two-year-olds, Harry Angel has sired five first crop juvenile Stakes performers, including the Stakes winners PROVERB and ARKANSAW KID.
In Australia HARRY ANGEL has sired the afore mentioned Inglis Banner 2YO Stakes winner ARKANSAW KID, plus metro winner ANGELIQUE, and the place-getters OUROBOROS and CHEROKEE DANCER from his first eight starters and he is leading the Australian First Season Sires’ Premiership (as at 2nd Feb 2023).
Yearlings by Harry Angel sold to $300,000 at the recent Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, and averaged $194,000. They also sold up to $250,000 at the Inglis Classic Sale
The mare and foal are offered as a package with the filly foal at foot. This is a genuine UNRESERVED sale as the owner is retiring from breeding. The foal has been handled and is ready for weaning when desired.
Destine's mother JEWELLED GATE is also offered as part of this online auction with a colt foal at foot by ASTERN. Inspections on farm welcomed.
