Description
Taurasi is a young, Sydney metropolitan performer, offered in foal for the first time to sire sensation Extreme Choice. Extreme Choice stood for a fee of $275,000 (inc. GST) in 2022.
Statistically unrivalled, with 18.3% stakes horses to runners, Extreme Choice is an elite young sire whose progeny include the Group 1 Golden Slipper winning Champion 2YO Stay Inside and two-time Group 1 winner She’s Extreme who has victories in the Group 1 ATC Champagne Stakes and the Group 1 VRC Oaks.
Extreme Choice’s progeny have also proven to be in great demand at public auction. At the 2023 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, Extreme Choice sired his first million-dollar yearling and averaged over $470,000.
Taurasi is by Newgate’s Group 1 VRC Coolmore Stud Stakes winner and World Champion Sprinter in Flying Artie. His progeny to date includes the Group 1 MRC Blue Diamond Stakes winner Artorius. She is also a half-sister to stakes winning 2YO Untamed and out of a full-sister to Group 1 winning Sprinter Foxwedge and stakes winner She's a Fox.
