Description
This filly has plenty of size, and she has good scope and strength. She is quite correct and walks straight with a good action. She is the second foal for the fast HINCHINBROOK (Fastnet Rock) mare COUNTERCURRENT.
VANCOUVER has proven to nick particularly well with FASTNET ROCK blood; nearly 70% winners from 19 runners bred this way, including his two-time Group Two winner MOUNT PLEASANT.
Countercurrent’s first foal, an unraced two-year-old SPIRIT OF BOOM filly, was a $275,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale purchase for Tasman Bloodstock and Tony Fung Investments. She has a TOO DARN HOT filly on the ground and is in-foal to CHURCHILL so there is plenty of opportunity for pedigree updates to come.
