Description
Eagle Magic is a young mare by Group 2 MRVC AAMI Vase winner Duelled, who is in foal to Newgate’s young sire North Pacific.
Eagle Magic hails from the same family as the four-time Australian Horse of the Year and 26 time Group 1 winner Winx.
Eagle Magic’s yearlings have sold for up to $300,000– a gelding by Maurice at the 2020 Magic Millions Yearling Sale who became a city winning 3YO. The current 3YO, Threetimesalady, is in training with Peter Moody and her 2YO, El Quinto, is in training with Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr.
Eagle Magic is sold in foal to Newgate’s young sire North Pacific – himself an $800,000 yearling whose elite performances saw him finish second by a head in the Group 1 Golden Rose and win the Group 3 ATC Up & Coming Handicap. Mares in foal to North Pacific sold for up to $280,000 in 2022.
Due to foal mid-August, allowing the purchaser to set her up for a cover to the stallion of their choice.
