Description
This attractive 4yo mare by Magnus out of a 5 time winning Snitzel mare has unfortunately suffered a tendon injury and the current owners are not willing to give her the time required.
She was a filly that always showed above average promise. Seen only twice on the racetrack for a strong debut 3rd at the Gold Coast over 900m in class record time. Trapped 4 and 5 wide from an awkward alley for the entire trip, she showed how tough she was and kept finding the line.
She was then spelled and came back in terrific order, having furnished into a stronger more complete filly with an excellent attitude towards her work.
She trialed on the 31st Jan and was excellent winning the trial by 3L, with her being eased down late. She then resumed at Ipswich over an unsuitable distance of 800m and was brave off a bad gate running 4th in again class record time, only 0.4 sec off the track record.
Unfortunately, last week she suffered an injury to her NS tendon which requires treatment, rest and the likelihood of 12 months rehabilitation.
The ownership group are devastated that we never saw the best of our girl on the track, knowing she was going to be most suited out to 1200m.
She's being offered as a broodmare or possible racing proposition if you're willing to give her the time.
