Description
YURCHENKO is a beautiful 3yo filly sired by STARSPANGLEDBANNER. Unfortunately, YURCHENKO sustained knee chips as a 2yo and has not been able to recover well enough to get to the races. She showed good early promise before sustaining the injury. YURCHENKO has physically developed into a beautiful, strong, and fast looking filly that is very correct and has a sensational temperament. Her 2yo half brother by Russian Revolution named Harstshorn has shown good early ability and is currently spelling after his debut run for Lloyd Kennewell.
YURCHENKO's dam KUCHINSKAYA was a 2yo city winner and hails from an incredibly successful family. She was one of 13 named foals produced by ZIPPAST, 12 of which were winners. Her half sister FIRENZA produced the outstanding galloper TUSCAN SLING and her other half sister BEAUTY WORLD has produced no less than 5 individual stakes winners (HIGH WORLD, LITE’N MY VEINS, DUCIMUS, LOVYAMADLY, WRITTEN BEAUTY) and 10 stakes wins. The family is full of winners with multiple black type performers.
We were very disappointed we didn't get to see this filly on the track. There was great confidence that she was fast but we also believe she is going to be a lovely broodmare that will throw outstanding foals.
