Description

Kooringal are proud to present our 2023 online yearling draft.

All horses are well grown, strong individuals who are ready to head to a breaker.

All lots have passed a scope; none have been x-rayed but can be organised early next week if required.

From Kooringal’s inaugural sale of now 3yo’s there have been 13 to race for 7 winners and 5 placegetters already. With prizemoney well exceeding the purchase price of all lots offered in the sale.

A couple of highlight lots include multiple winner Jamarra who has put together over $120,000 in prizemoney and has placed in town behind subsequent multiple Gr. 1 winner Jacquinot and Gr 2. Rubiton winner Lofty Strike.

Lady Kah is another filly who has returned her owners over 5 times her purchase price at her first two starts after winning on debut she went on to win the class 3 Guy Walter Hcp. on Goulburn cup day.

By multiple Gr 1 winner Prized Icon, whose oldest are 2yo. He has only had the one to race for a placegetter so far with plenty more not far off making their debut.

He gets fantastic types, with a great nature and attitude and we are getting a lot of good reports from leading stables all across the country.

Second foal from the Nicconi mare Ballybane. From a strong black type family this filly has always been a lovely style of filly with great athleticism.
