Description

Capitoline Lady ’21 is a well grown bay filly by the Newgate’s young sire Tassort.

Capitoline Lady ’21 is out of a Choisir mare. Choisir is an elite broodmare sire, responsible for 6 individual Group 1 winners and 49 stakes horses.

Being by Tassort, a grandson of I Am Invincible, this filly is bred on a very close cross to that of Goldolphin’s multiple Group 1 winning star mare In Secret.

Tassort has begun his stallion career very well with his yearlings selling for up to $200,000 in 2023. Tassort represents untapped talent combined with genetic excellence. He is out of one of the best mares in the Australian Stud boke and is a half-brother to 2 Group 1 winners, Alizee and Astern. As a racehorse, Tasort was a 2YO in the season Godolphin trifecta’s the Golden Slipper and he was the colt who stood out from the start. In the Golden Gift, he earned a Group 1 class 103 WFA performance rating when winning in a record-breaking time and margin.

This yearling has a Tassort weanling filly to follow her and her dam is back in foal to Newgate’s first season sire Profiteer.
