Description

Closely related to the multiple Group One winner KING’S HIGH, Group One performer REGAL ARTERY and to the $1,000,000 earner and Group One place-getter ARABIAN GOLD, this daughter of proven Group One sire KERMADEC is an exciting racing prospect.

This unbroken filly is out of the winning CHOISIR mare BOLD RUNNER, whose only foal to race to-date is the Ryan Balfour-trained DECIBELLES who is a city winner over 1600m this preparation. Bold Runner also has a yearling filly by ZOUSAIN and a weanling colt by HELLBENT coming through.

Daughters of CHOISIR are doing a terrific job at stud, with six individual Group One winners to-date, including the outstanding James Cummings-trained filly IN SECRET.

From just four crops of racing age KERMADEC has already sired the Group One winners MONTEFILIA, WILLOWY and TUVALU, plus this season’s Group Two-winning juvenile TROBRIAND. Kermadec has had just one runner to-date out of a Choisir mare and that is the multiple winner MAGNOLIA ROSE who has banked nearly $90,000 in earnings to-date.

This filly combines the wonderful bloodlines of GALILEO, SUNDAY SILENCE, DANEHILL and MARSCAY and she is bred on a very similar pedigree pattern to the globe-trotting, seven-time Group One winner HIGHLAND REEL.

Given plenty of time to mature, this filly has been through a 6-week educational preparation where she has been lunged, tied down, on the walker etc, she is ready to be broken in and start her race career.
