Description
My Brother Bob is a lightly raced highly promising Class 1 son of Bobby’s Kitten
My Brother Bob was a very impressive winner over 1410m at Lismore three runs ago in late February. The form from this race has been outstanding with the second horse running second this week and the third and fifth horses both wining full TAB maidens this week..
Prior to winning his maiden My Brother Bob showed brilliant speed to cross from an outside gate over 1100m at Grafton and fight on strongly to be third. So whilst he can get a solid 1400m he certainly is not a one trick pony.
Overall in his career My Brother Bob has raced on fifteen occasions for a very consistent ten top four finishes.
Following his win My Brother Bob was placed fourth in a strong Class 1 1181m at Grafton then unfortunately My Brother Bob suffered a Bleeding Attack during a race at Coffs Harbour on March 20th and is now barred from racing for 3 months.
Whilst EIPH is clearly an issue My Brother Bob is in our opinion sound in every other way, if you wish to arrange an independent veterinary inspection they are indeed welcomed.
Prior to the incident on race day the gelding was never treated for or trained as a bleeder as there had never been any indication EIPH was an issue.
Ironically My Brother Bob is raced by the same syndicate that sold Roaring Thunder on Inglisdigital.com after he had suffered an EIPH incident in June of last year.
Roaring Thunder sold for $4750 and although he eventually suffered a second issue of EIPH he was able to win in excess of $39000 for his new connections before his second EIPH.
As Roaring Thunder was sold in similar circumstances the large group of owners have again decided to offer My Brother Bob for unreserved sale.
