Description
This filly is the first foal for the well-bred PIERRO mare PIERRO PRINCESS. Foaled on September 1st, she has good size, strength and scope. She has a good head and is a nice-shaped filly with a good action. It is not often that a weanling of this quality is offered online. Pierro Princess is back in-foal to YES YES YES on the back of this successful mating.
Yearlings by YES YES YES have sold to $450,000 already this year, and his 53 yearlings sold this year to-date have averaged nearly $130,000.
Daughters of PIERRO are proving to be outstanding broodmares; from just 22 runners to-date they have produced five individual Stakes performers, highlighted by two-time Group One winner JACQUINOT (Rubick) and this season’s Stakes-winning two-year-old THE SPIRIT OF ZERO (Needs Further). This filly is thus bred on the same successful Encosta De Lago/Pierro cross that has produced Jacquinot and The Spirit of Zero as both RUBICK and NEEDS FURTHER are sons of ENCOSTA DE LAGO, and YES YES YES (Rubick) is a grandson of ENCOSTA DE LAGO.
