Well related mare in foal to TRAPEZE ARTIST
Lanzini is a young, well credentialed mare who comes with a pedigree littered with black type. She is a half sister to not one but two classy Group winning fillies; SABATINI & VIV VELOCE. Sabatini was a five time winner including the Gr.2 Armanasco Stakes, while Vivi Veloce was a smart 2yo who was victorious in the Gr.2 SAJC National Stakes. Both of these fillies have now retired and are visiting some of the leading sires in both Australia and New Zealand including Dundeel, Deep Field and Snitzel. They now also have daughters at stud visiting the likes of champion sire Savabeel. Make no mistake, with so many fillies working in the family, this is a pedigree with huge potential.
She is the dam of one foal to race for one winner, the Richard & Will Freedman trained Lady Percival’s was a good winner of her maiden on her penultimate outing and looks sure to go onto better things. She then has an unraced 2yo by TRAPEZE ARTIST named La Joya who was a $70,000 Inglis Melbourne Premier purchase last year, and is being sold back in foal to the highly touted son of Snitzel again this year to produce a mid-September foal.

TRAPEZE ARTIST has been an instant success at stud and an incredibly popular addition to the Widden roster, covering 618 mares in his first four seasons. He’s also proved popular in the sales ring, incredibly his first crop sold for up to $850,000 and has continued to be in high demand. But it’s on the racetrack where his progeny are really excelling.
