Description
An attractive, well put together filly, this daughter of US Triple Crown winner American Pharoah is out of the outstanding South American Group One winner Greta G.
Greta G’s first foal to race is Peshwa, who was a winner over 1600m in the spring for the Griffiths/de Kock stable. Purchased by his trainers at the 2021 Easter sale for $250,000, this lightly raced son of Tapit has had just five starts to-date.
Greta G’s second foal, an unraced two-year-old So You Think colt named Do You Think So, is also an Easter graduate and is trained by the Griffiths/de Kock partnership. Greta G foaled a colt by Saxon Warrior last spring and she is now in-foal to Churchill.
Among American Pharoah’s recent Southern Hemisphere-bred Stakes performers is Group Two Bill Stutt Stakes winner Tijuana, Group Three winner Pavitira (2nd in the Group One Vinery Stud Stakes and 2nd in the Group One VRC Oaks), and Foxy Cleopatra – runner-up in the Group Three Etheral Stakes.
American Pharoah has been very successful with mares by sons of Danzig, with this cross yielding nearly 10% Stakes horses to runners and notably, all the Stakes performers bred on this cross have earned their black-type on Turf.
