This imported Irish-bred mare is a daughter of World Champion Halling, sire of 58 SWs, 5 of them at Gr1 level, incl Irish Derby winner Jack Hobbs and is now the broodmare sire of 34 SWs including Gr1 winners Vale of York, French King and Folk Opera
Phyllis Maud won 4 races at 2 and 3 years before selling for 360,000 guineas at the Tatts December Sales.?
This Darley-bred mare is a half-sister to the top WFA performer Hartnell, a winner of 4 Gr1 races (including the ATC BMW) and was Gr1-placed on another 14 occasions. Another sibling – Roz – is a Listed GB stakeswinner and was Gr1-placed at Newmarket.
Phyllis Maud hails from a quality European family which has also produced Gr1 winners Suave Dancer, Land of Plenty & Zavite.
Phyllis Maud has produced offspring which have sold up to $200k as yearlings and has a Maurice weanling filly still to run for her.

At the recent Inglis Sydney Easter Sales The Autumn Sun yearlings averaged over $364k and sold up to the sale’s top price of $1.8m.
