Description

A quality mare by leading sire Snitzel and out of the G2 winning mare Capella, Alla Breve is carrying her first foal by first season sire Captivant (Capitalist).

Standing at Kia Ora last season for $25,000, Captivant was a tough as teak 2yo winning on debut in October before contesting six 2yo races culminating with an emphatic win in the G1 Champagne.

Alla Breve is a full sister to Lambda who was placed in the Listed Talindert Stakes at 2 and sells in foal to Home Affairs at the upcoming Inglis Chairman's sale. Capella's weanling foal is a beautiful filly by Zoustar that is destined for MM Jan or Easter and while empty this year, Capella will visit a leading stallion again next year.

This is a lovely physical mating and the Capitalist/Snitzel cross has produced the likes of G2w Marine One and G1p Cannonball.
