Description

MAGNAGEM is the four-time city winning mare by MAGNUS, who as a broodmare sire has produced to 11.9% black type horses to winners, including the G1 winning MIZZY, Listed winners UNITE AND CONQUER and FLYING MISSILE, as well as CHARITY SPIRIT, MISSION VALUE and the stakes placed, sprinting superstar YULONG COMMAND.

MANAGEM is out of the superb nine-time winning and multiple stakes winning mare CONISTON GEM who won over $400,000 in prizemoney including the G3 VRC Frances Tressady Stakes, G3 MRC Hyderabad Race Club Stakes and the Listed Anniversary Vase.

MAGNAGEM is also a half-sister to the up-and-coming star stallion GOLD STANDARD who to date has produced three stakes class horses from his small first crop including G1 BRC JJ Atkins winner and G1 ATC Coolmore Classic third place getter SHEEZA BELTER. GOLD STANDARD’s other stakes placed progeny includes GOLDEN QUEEN and GAGE ROADS. A sire on the rise with brilliant fertility, he covered 124 mares last season and looks to be a future star for the Victorian stallion ranks.

MAGNAGEM produces quality foals with her PIERRO filly realising $220,000 as a yearling, her RUSSIAN REVOLUTION filly achieving $170,000 at Melbourne Premier and her most recent 2021 I AM IMMORTAL colt reaching $150,000 at the Perth Magic Millions yearling sales (see photo in this ad of the colt). All purchased by quality stables, such as the Griffiths de Kock team in Victoria they should all make their mark on the track.

MAGNAGEM is in foal to Rosemont stallion HANSEATIC making the resulting foal eligible for both SUPER VOBIS and VOBIS SIRES ownership bonus series. MAGNAGEM’s date of last service to HANSEATIC is 29/10/2022.

HANSEATIC is a precocious speed stallion who became the first 2yo since Champion juvenile RANCHER to clean sweep the Listed Merson Cooper Stakes, Listed Blue Diamond Preview and the G3 Blue Diamond Prelude before bad luck in running prevented him from winning the G1 Blue Diamond Stakes running a scintillating second place. A dynamite 2yo, the resulting progeny from this mating will be all speed!

HANSEATIC hails from the superior family of BLACK CAVIAR and this specific mating results in the 4x3 inbreeding to the great mare SCANDINAVIA who is the dam of MAGNUS and blue-hen mare HELSINGE who is the dam of BLACK CAVIAR and ALL TOO HARD.
