Description
An impressive 1.25 length metropolitan winner at Moonee Valley over 1000m, the smart sprinter Shilo Lass recorded four wins at 1000m and 1200m. She was retired from racing in December due to losing form and pulling up with EIPH at her final run. She is letting down into a beautiful broodmare and has a lovely pedigree.
Daughters of Foxwedge are proving to very good broodmares and this season to-date have produced six individual Stakes performers, including the Group Three San Domenico Stakes winner Sweet Ride (Deep Field), and the juvenile Stakes performers Arizona Activist (Written Tycoon) and Gangitano (Written Tycoon).
Shilo Lass is out of the fast, two-year-old winner Simply Fantastic who is a half-sister to the Stakes winning sprinters Dirty and Whitlam, and to the Group One performer Etymology, while her half-sisters Authoress and Dirty are already successful Stakes producers.
Shilo Lass retired 100% sound. She can have a very mild wind suck but this is easily corrected with a collar.
