Description

Lightly raced HELLBENT 3yo All Night Bender has solid Victorian maiden formlines and will be a nice acquisition for an interstate stable racing in a slightly weaker jurisdiction.

Very unlucky to be only beaten 3.4L at Stony Creek when dragged back and forced to cover ground wide, he ran the second fastest 1000m-WP and 800m-WP of the race.

The following start at Yarra Valley, he was badly held up and was only beaten 3.5L.

Last start at Seymour, he didn’t enjoy the Soft 6 (which was reported to be more like a Heavy track) and the rider reported that he didn’t run out the trip on the wet track.

The jury is out whether this horse runs a strong 2000m and the data would suggest he is probably better suited around the 1600m – 1800m on a firmer surface.

Extremely sound, a good doer in the stable who is excellent to train, travel and ride, he has plenty of upside and wins to come.
