Description
PEPPERDINE is being offered on behalf of his owners and is currently spelling after being in full training with the Ellerton stable. He has had 7 career starts for 2 thirds with his last start being the 21st of April this year.
PEPPERDINE was a stunning yearling out of the G1 placed DARCI BRAHMA mare OUR MISS JONES who has had fived named foals for four to race and three winners including 5x winning NORAH (by ALL TOO HARD) who was purchased by Mick Kent.
PEPPERDINE’s half-sister HOOPLA (by HINCHINBROOK) realised $180,000 as a yearling, selling to Cambridge Stud and was a winner at 2yo.
The family is littered with stakes winners including MARIANNE who won or placed in a phenomenal 9x stakes races before selling as a broodmare for $475,000. She has since gone on to produce G2 ATC Tulloch Stakes winner YALETOWN (by VANCOUVER) under the tutelage of Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott.
PEPPERDINE is for sale unreserved as his owners are wanting to reduce the numbers of horses in training. As a lightly raced gelding, he has plenty of racing upside and will provide his new owners plenty of fun on the track! Hopefully he can break his maiden and work his way through the grades.
