Description
Dancing Poetess was a tough race mare - 66 starts for 9 wins and 20 placings over 6 years. She won from 1200 to 1500m which included a city win.
Her first foal - an almost black colt by Denman - has inherited her great physique and lovely nature. He is being retained to race, as is her gorgeous Hallowed Crown weanling filly.
DP is a delight to have around - easy to catch, trim, float - nothing is a drama and she is only for sale as we are no longer breeding, and it would be a shame for her to just sit in a paddock.
From a prolific winner producer in Shimmy - everything she has had that has got to a racetrack has won, although her 4yo has had one start only and is yet to break through and one died while in work from a freak accident - DP should carry on the family tradition.
Standing 16.1 hh she is correct and sound, she has just had her teeth done at the vets while getting her breeding certificate completed (no problems there) and has been kept in light condition to facilitate feeding up for the covering season. She is a very good doer and has great feet. Shae has been well looked after all her life and it shows.
