Screaming Diva is a lightly raced winner and six times placed from only 10 career starts.

She was ultra-consistent in her first racing campaign, and unlucky not to have won her maiden sooner, only missing a place once in her first 7 starts with her last start of that preparation a run of a filly wanting the paddock. She returned as an autumn 4yo and broke her maiden first up in determined fashion at Cranbourne over 1000m beating Black Caviar’s son I Am Caviar who then went on to win at its next start.

Her following two starts were below her best and she has subsequently been diagnosed as a 4 out of 5 roarer. Vet report attached.

The majority of owners have voted to put her up for sale rather than proceed with surgery. If she’s to undergo a standard tie-back procedure her prognosis to continue racing is good and if she can return to her earlier form she’s certainly capable of winning more races. Note she is Super Vobis & Vobis Gold nominated.

Alternatively, she can go immediately to the breeding barn to take on the next phase of her career as a broodmare. Screaming Diva was a 55k Magic Millions Tasmania Yearling purchase and she is out of a good producing mare in Doubtful Diva who has had six foals to race, all winners and she is a half-sister to SW ROYAL BABE, Graciela (dam of SW HEART TESTA) and Slice of Royalty (dam of SW ROYAL TITHE). While Screaming Diva's 3yo 1/2 brother by Zululand was a 75k yearling and now a 2x winner and City winner in Adelaide.

Screaming Diva is a beautiful mare and lovely strong type. She’s got great strength and depth to her, has always been an excellent mover and had ability without a lot of luck to reach her full potential on the track so far. She’d make a fine addition to any broodmare band or a great new project for a smaller stable to take on.
