Liberty Fire is a lightly raced 4yo mare who is a winner from only 7 career starts.

Liberty Fire is a mare that had ability on the track yet unfortunately her race career was cut short due to a tendon injury and she is now best retired and is being offered as a breeding prospect only.

A daughter of Iffraaj - broodmare sire of multiple Group 1 winning star MELODY BELLE plus further Stakes Winners in the Southern Hemisphere EXCELIDA and BRANDO.

Liberty Fire was a 80k NZB Ready to Run purchase where she breezed up in a fast time of 10.76 and she showed ability from an early stage to run a creditable race as a Winter 2yo at Metro level. She then was given time and broke her maiden at her first run back as a late Spring 3yo over 1200m. Soundness issues unfortunately plagued her from here and we were never able to see the best of her which was above average on natural ability. She underwent a carpal and digital sheath tenoscopy to her left fore in her 3yo season which resolved temporarily however the injury has reoccured and on vet advice she is best to now be retired from racing.

Her dam Flame Of Lanka, a daughter of Champion Broodmare Sire Redoute's Choice, has produced four winners from five to race and she herself is a daughter of multiple Stakes Winner ABBADENA while she is also a full-sister to Stakes Winner and Group 1 Hong Kong Mile placed PACKING COMMANDER - PACKING OK and half-sister to the dam of recent Stakes Placed 3yo CLOUDY NIGHTS.

A gorgeous physical type, Liberty Fire will make a lovely broodmare. She's a great physical type standing at a good size of approximately 16hh, attractive head, big girth, lovely action and she is easy to do anything with.
