Description
Nothingbutadreamer is a very nice type of mare, is fairly correct though she does turn out so slightly on the near fore. She has been easy to handle be it for drenching, farrier or transport. She produces a nice type of foal, strong and easy to handle.
She is a half to ALMALAD - FRIENDS OF KA YING (H.K.), champion 2YO Colt in Australia in 2013-14 with 5 wins - 3 in succession at 2, winning from 1000m to 1600m, including the BRC JJ Atkins Stakes at Gr1. More black type abounds in her pedigree with her dam being a half sister to multiple Gr1 winner COUNTY TYRONE and stakes placed Al Wafi. The list goes on with half sisters producing the likes of SAMAREADY (producer of EXHILARATES), NIGHT WAR, Samartested etc.
Early days for DREAM AHEAD (USA) as a broodmare sire. He has runs on the board with LIGHTSABER, winner of the VRC Sires' Produce Stakes Gr2 and the MRC Caulfield Guineas Prelude Gr3. So the 2yo winners are there, with scope to train on as older horses and be competitive at the highest level.
