A quality Flying Pegasus mare, and a half sister Hong Kong stakes winner Captain Sweet! Stregheria consistently produces great types, with her progeny averaging $95k as yearlings, and reaching a top price of $170k.
Her top performer so far has been Xtra Gear, a rising 5YO Xtravagant mare, who was 2nd on debut as an early 3YO to multiple city winner Invincible Caviar. Xtra Gear herself has recently produced two metropolitan wins in QLD and is back in work with aspirations for the Spring.
Her 2YO filly by Xtravagant is in work with Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou and has impressed in her work so far. Her yearling colt made $85k at the recent Magic Millions June yearling sale, and she has a cracking Cool Aza Beel colt on the ground that will be heading to yearling sales in 2024.
Stregheria is being sold in foal to New Zealand’s Champion 2YO, Cool Aza Beel. Cool Aza Beel has received tremendous support from breeders since beginning his stud career, and his supporters have been rewarded with great types, that will head to the yearling sales for the first time in 2024. The only Group One winning son of Savabeel to stand at stud in Australia, Cool Aza Beel offers a unique outcross opportunity, and his speed and precocity as a 2YO looks well suited to the Australian market and racing landscape.
Stregheria has a lovely temperament and is easy to handle. She has consistently gone in foal and carried to term without any issues.
