WINNING EXCEED AND EXCEL MARE HALF TO QUEEN OF WIZARDRY
A winning daughter of Exceed and Excel, Chocolate Kisses is a half-sister to the highly talented 2YO Queen of Wizardry. In addition to earning over $500,000, Queen of Wizardry ran 3.25L in the 2YO Magic Millions beating subsequent Stakes winners MISS HIPSTAR, SWIFT WITNESS, RANCH HAND and FINANCE TYCOON. Purchased for $525,000 at the 2021 Magic Millions Broodmare Sale by Cambridge Stud, Queen of Wizardry was bred to Spirit of Boom in 2022 and will continue to be bred to the country’s leading stallions.
Chocolate Kisses has very strong prospects of further pedigree updates through her immediate relations which include 2YO half-sister by The Autumn Sun, Coco Sun, who was a $250,000 purchase for her trainers Tony and Calvin McEvoy as well as a yearling half-sister by Yes Yes Yes and weanling half-sister by So You Think.
Physically she is a lovely style of mare. Standing at 16hh, she is strong and compact with plenty of quality. She was a $220,000 Magic Millions yearling purchase by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott.
Chocolate Kisses is a daughter of elite broodmare sire Exceed and Excel who is the damsire of 83 Stakes winners including 12 individual Gr.1 winners highlighted by 3x Gr.1 winner ALIZEE, 2x Gr.1 winner TEN SOVEREIGNS, ASTERN, LAWS OF INDICES etc. Currently 3rd - Leading Australian Broodmare Sires by Earnings, Exceed and Excel has produced 14 Stakes winners including 10 Group winner this season alone, his best season to date.
