Description
Opportunity to purchase a very attractive young mare from a very tightly held family.
Standing approx. 16hh, good solid, correct, strong mare.
Impossibly is an excellent producing young mare with total sales of her foals topping $944K so far between four foals sold in weanling and yearling sales, with plenty of breeding and upside to come for her new owner.
Her foals have consistently been amongst the best produce sold each year by their respective stallions inc:
2018 colt by Dundeel - Sold for $250K as a weanling (topping the 2019 Great Southern weanling sale) most expensive weanling ever sold by Dundeel at the time and it was another couple years before this result was bettered. Pin-hooked in the Covid affected 2020 Inglis Easter Sale and realized $280K without ever setting foot on Australian soil. He has since won twice and is proving a promising young miler/stayer for the Forsman stable.
2019 filly by Lonhro - Sold for $90K at the 2021 Inglis Classic sale. Slow maturing type with more to come.
2020 colt by More Than Ready - Sold for $100K at the 2021 Great Southern Sale, most expensive weanling sold by the stallion that year and in the preceding 4 years. Pinhooked into the 2022 Magic Millions Sale where he made a respectable $200K. In training with Maher/Eustace and ready to win for the mare in the future.
2022 filly by North Pacific - Sold for $24K at the 2023 Great Southern Sale, excellent strong precocious type who was very well fancied by pinhookers. Don't let her price fool you as she had perfect x-rays except for a small piece of tyre feeder wire discovered in her NF fetlock during the sales x-rays. It was too close to the sale to remove the wire but expect to see her at one of the top sales next year as she was highly rated by Newgate for type and pedigree.
2023 in foal to Gold Standard - Exciting young stallion who has produced a Group 1 winning 2 year old and a stakes placed horse from very limited opportunities and the resultant foal will be a close relation to Grace And Harmony who was trained by Chris Waller to win the BRC Gold Coast Bracelet. Highly rated cross by pedigree analysts.
Impossibly is an extremely easy mare in every way. She has gone in foal first cover every season bar one, has fuss free pregnancies and foals without any issues and has never required any treatment/assistance or even a caslick.
She has a great temperament and foals and raises good, strong, independent, attractive and correct foals.
Impossibly hails from a prolific and very active stakes producing family, which has been tightly held and opportunities to buy into the family rarely come along.
Choisir is currently 18th on the broodmare sires table with a very respectable 34.2% runners to winners and matches quite well with a number of current stallions at all ends of the spectrum.
