Placed 2nd on her debut as a 2YO over 1200m, Magistra is a half-sister to 7 winners including Champion Sire of Japan & previously Champion Japanese 3YO KING KAMEHAMEHA and Gr.1 Santa Anita Derby winner THE DEPUTY. She is closely related to Gr.1 winners MUSIR, ALWUHUSH, HUSBAND, LADY ELI, SPRING IN THE AIR, SWEET LORETTA and SPICED PERFECTION. This is a famous Aga Khan Stud family descended from Khaled’s half-sister Aimee.
Magistra is the dam of 2 winners to date and has very strong prospects of improving her produce record with 2YO and yearling colts by Champion 3YO & a leading first season sire The Autumn Sun. Her 2YO now named Aki, made $260k as a Melbourne Premier yearling last year and is in work with the Busuttin Young stable.
