Description
Commands The Field is a 4yo Deep Field mare with a career record of 19: 2-4-2 and a current Victorian rating of 64.
She showed well above average ability as a juvenile - winning on debut at Cranbourne as a 2yo and defeating 7-time winner and city class sprinter Midwest in the process.
As a 3yo she was incredibly consistent and performed at metropolitan level. This included a city win at Sandown where she came from near last in the straight and showed a serious turn of foot over the final 200m.
In recent preparations her interest has tapered and she would be well suited to a change in environment and/or racing in a weaker jurisdiction.
As a city winner with a powerful physique, terrific constitution and classy pedigree, Commands The Field also presents as a viable broodmare for interested parties at the conclusion of her racing career.
