Unraced 3yo Pierro filly out of Group 1 winning mare Rock Diva. Rock Diva herself is a half-sister to Dual Group 1 winner Shamrocker (AJC Derby & VRC Guineas) plus Group 3 winners Bohemian Lily and Vernanme. This is a family littered with black type winners.
Precious Commodity was a $320,000 New Zealand Bloodstock yearling sale purchase and is a very good type.
Please find attached a vet report on Precious Commodity who had kissing spine surgery on the 4th November 2022. The filly come through the surgery well and has since been in training with Danny O’Brien Racing. Precious Commodity has trialed Geelong and at Flemington in her previous preparations.
The filly is well made, with plenty of quality to her and stands approximately 16hh and weighs 505kgs. Precious Commodity has a great temperament and is easy to do anything with around the stable including float, tie up in stalls, shoe and in track work.
Precious Commodity is being sold to disperse the current racing partnership. Precious Commodity has a superficial cut to the off hind leg that is currently healing as shown in the photos / videos. The filly is available for inspection or vet examinations at Danny O’Brien Racing, Barwon Heads, Victoria before the conclusion of the online auction.
