Exciting opportunity to get involved in a jumps proposition. Alakahan was purchased to target the current jumps season but ended up continuing his flat racing career and having a super run in the G3 Manion Cup, finishing fourth just behind Sir Lucan.
He has gone out for a spell and will look to return to the stable in preparation for next jumps season.

Stewards' Report: Alakahan (IRE) Change of tactics: intention to be further forward. Settled midfield. Raced wide passing the winning post on the first occasion until settling behind Swords Drawn near the 1800m. Performed below market expectations. Post-race endoscopy of Alakahan (IRE) detected a degree of internal exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage which may have affected the gelding's racing performance. A veterinary clearance will be required prior to racing again.
