Description
Nice colonial mare that throws lovely foals, Escobar is currently empty and presents as a great opportunity to get an early cover for the new season.

Dam of four foals to race, for three winners, Escobar is a daughter of NOT A SINGLE DOUBT and 7-time winner & Gr3 placed SWISS VAULT making her a half-sister to 2yo winner and Stakes Placed EL MAGICO.
She currently has a lovely weanling filly by ASTERN who is a good size, strong and correct filly that was also a finalist in Breednet's foal gallery Favourite Foal of the Year (photos attached). Unfortunately Escobar missed on only one late cover in 2022 to PROFITEER. Given the late cover, the decision was made not to cover her again to allow her to get back on an early cycle for 2023.
Her yearling this year was a strong, well balanced and correct colt by TERRITORIES who sold for $50,000 at Inglis Premier Showcase session and will race in Hong Kong.
Her 3yo filly by CARAVAGGIO, now named MISS CARTEL, sold for $60,000 at the Magic Millions National Sale in 2022. She has shown ability for trainer Angela Davies having won a trial prior to her race debut where she ran a solid 4th by 1.82L at Hawkesbury.
Of the other three to race, she has 4yo CHOISIR'S CHOICE (58k Inglis Premier Showcase yearling) with Amanda Turner at Warwick Farm who is a winner and 2 x placed from only 8 starts, 5yo MENTALISM (50k Inglis Classic Yearling by So You Think) who is a 2 x winner, 8 x placed and 6yo VALLEJO (72.5k Inglis Classic yearling) who is a 2 x winner and 3 x placed.
ESCOBAR is a producer of winners and beautiful foals that sell well off low cost covers and as such she will make a great addition for smaller breeders to continue on with.
She's a strong mare with good bone, depth and length and stands at 15.2 1/2 hh.
