Description
Unreserved sale of good looking Foxwedge mare Phoenix Sunrise. This mare has a lovely pedigree which extends back to NORTHERN METEOR and SMART MISSILE. The mare has already produced 1 winner from 2 starters with Kermadelle being placed and showing above average ability in the hands of Lindsay Smith. She is presently in work and look toward a good Spring campaign.
Kermadelle was such a good type she was a $150,000 yearling in Book 2 at Melbourne Premier. She has a yearling full sister that will be in the hands of Enver Jusufovic so the family will get every chance. There is also a weanling by Kermadec also being set for the Inglis Sales series this coming year.
Phoenix Sunrise is back in foal to KERMADEC as she is consistently throwing quality foals by him.
KERMADEC is a hugely underrated stallion having already produced Group 1 winners LIMS KOSCIUSZKO, MONTEFILIA, TUVALU, WILLOWY and AMOKURA.
This mare has good feet, good bone and substance which she puts into all of her foals. She has a lovely temperament and is good to handle in every way.
