Description
Waltz is a 2YO winning mare from one of the great families in the studbook - the famous Dopff family from NZ.
Along with being a 2YO winner herself, her dam Dancer's Tale is a pre-Christmas stakes winning 2YO. Dancer's Tale's progeny have sold up to $200k.
Deeper in the family is abundant with stakes and Group 1 form being the family of Celebrity Dream, Vavasour, Vilanova, etc. and is current with exciting rising 3YO Zourion (winner of this season's Matamata Breeders' Stakes) considered one of the most highly regarded fillies in her crop.
Waltz is by Hinchinbrook who is doing a good job as a broodmare sire including being the dam sire of Sejardan - a Todman Stakes winner who is now at stud.
She is in foal to exciting first season sire Admire Mars - unbeaten Champion 2yo colt, a triple Group 1-winning miler and the only 3YO winner of the Hong Kong Mile G1.
Waltz is a well-built strong mare that is typical of a horse that was winning as a 2YO. She is correct with good feet, a good walking action and has no vices.
