Description
Noonday Gun, 6YO stayer by Dubawi and half to G1 winner Snow Lantern (Frankel)
Noonday Gun has had nine starts since arriving down under with his first Australian start one year ago. Leading the whole way over 3000m, he won impressively at Mooney Valley and beat both Protection Money, who ran second to White Marlin in the Macca's Run on Melbourne Cup Day, and talented jumper Bell Ex One in the process.
As a one-paced but tough stayer, he is an exciting jumps prospect. The horse has had four hurdle trials - most recently at Traralgon on the 5th of July where he ran second by a nose to Stern Idol's half-brother Second Act.
Unfortunately, he sustained a tendon injury following his trial and will require an expected 12 months rest/rehab period. Please find the vet report attached for your reference.
