Description
Special Day is a 4-year-old Mare that stands at 15 1/2 Hands. She is sound and being given time to mature, having only Raced 9 times for a win and 3 thirds.
She won her 1st Start over 1200 meters and we have extended her out in distance to 2100 meters thinking that she would develop into a stayer on her pedigree. However, we may have over done it and maybe suited to a mile or shorter.
Special Day would be suited to country or Queensland racing. She is only being sold as we like to race in the city and is surplus to our requirements.
She is from one of the best Families in the Studbook that of Klairessa / Eight Carat /Octagonal Excetra.
Her pedigree being full of Blue Hen Mares and outstanding Racehorses making her an outstanding Broodmare prospect when she is finished her racing carrier.
Her grandam Manang won 5 races including 2nd in the VRC Oaks
