STELLA MARIS
Stella Maris is a lightly raced 6 yo by one of the world's leading sires in Lope De Vega, out of Family Jewels who is the half-sister to Group 1 winner Diamond Drille. She hails from the family of I Am Invincible. offered I.F Dubious. Herr Territories colt made 70k and is with Nick Ryan.
She is the full sister to Thy Kingdom Come a proven Saturday grade horse; a winner of 5 races and over $400,000.
The mare is a big athletic type standing at approximately 16.1 hands. Bought for $170k at Inglis Easter sale.
Unfortunately, due to a barrier incident on her supposed debut in the Group 3 Magic Night stakes which resulted in her been scratched, she was seldom comfortable in or near the barriers.
Her former Sydney trainer is adamant that she possesses plenty of natural ability which we sadly never got to see in her races.
