Description

"Clairvoyance, the highly-touted youngster whose career was almost cut short by a displaced small colon, bounced back to her breathtaking best with a record-breaking win in the Pinjarra Classic on Sunday. The 4-1/4 length romp in track record time for the 1300m was astonishing given what she has overcome in the past 12 months, but also not unexpected given what she showed earlier in her career. Clairvoyance ($3.90) coasted across from barrier 14 with little effort to lead and increased the margin throughout the straight, smashing Corporate Gun’s track record set in 2000 by 0.37sec."
Clairvoyance is a winner of seven races from eleven starts, including four in succession as a two/three-year-old which she won by a combined 13.1L.
In 2020 she was named by the West Australian as one of the top ten racehorse in WA, which stated “sectional times analysts were raving about her”. The same year there were also discussions in the east on RSN Racing regarding whether she would contend an Everest in 2021.
Injury cut her career short, including a knee injury and colic surgery which she came back from in early 2022 to win the Listed Pinjarra Classic by 4.25 lengths.
At this win she also broke the 22-year track record over 1300m and earned her a top five weight-for-age performance rating of 103 for a filly or mare up to 1400m in Australia that season (when the article was written in March 2022).
News of her returning to work in 2023 from a pelvis injury excited the racing industry, with TABtouch putting her in the futures market for the 2023 Everest.
