Description

Serene Moon is a talented 4yo mare who showed plenty early in her career, beaten less than a length in a metropolitan maiden, before going on to win comfortably at Terang and be tested in the in the Vobis Gold Carat behind subsequent stakes winner Pinstriped.

She is a mare that does not like wet tracks and failed at her only start of the campaign in July 2022 on a wet surface, before returning to the paddock to mature and return for the late Summer / Autumn.

Following her run at Kerang, she unfortunately went sore and a series of nerve blocks uncovered an issue with her near fore foot and a suspected tendon issue in the foot. An MRI has been recommended to further investigate, or to have a period of rest and re-assess, should a racing future be desired.

She is being moved on at the request of the ownership group.

She was a $90,000 yearling from Magic Millions Adelaide and is a lovely mare to handle. She is by Puissance De Lune and a half relation to multiple winners Blunakka and Hughes The Boss.
